Their flight leaves around 10am tomorrow morning – which means we need to leave the house at about 6am. Which means wake up time is 5am (maybe a bit later for the girls). I’ve done it before and it won’t be a problem.
BIL will be doing the driving to the airport (I assume) and I’ll have my trusty GPS with me for the drive back. We’ll be taking his Prius because I don’t think that all their luggage will fit in my trunk. The Prius is a hatchback and that provides more open space for luggage and such.
We’re hoping the 2 hour cushion we’re giving ourselves will be enough to get them there two hours before their flight leaves. It’s Monday and full of traffic, but it should be fine.
After I drop them off and make it it home I assume I will be exhausted and ready to take a nap. BUT Nikki really wants to go tomorrow morning, but there is obviously no room in the car. I placated her by telling her we’ll go to the library when I get back and that we’ll hit the park. BUT the park is going to be hot and she’ll get burned, this this should be done at nighttime.
I have a date tomorrow night though.
So,
- She forgets I promised to take her to the park.
- I tell her that we’ll go to the park on Tuesday, the library tomorrow.
- Number two PLUS I’ll go and buy another thing of ice cream at Rite Aid.
- I take her in the middle of the day and let her burn herself to show her that it’s TOO hot to go play there.
We shall see.
As far as the date goes… that’s another story and I will talk about it tomorrow.
Good night.
