Final

I have to work on my final. But I can’t.

My laptop is being extra slow because of the huge download I’m working on. To switch from one program to another it takes a long time… even this site isn’t loaded all the way.

I have tomorrow afternoon and the entire weekend to work on it. I’m not starting from scratch, I’m just changing the things he talked about. I’m not worried. Yet. But Saturday no going out unless I get a lot of the word done before then. I don’t want to stop downloading the program, but if I have to so that I can work on my paper, I will. I hope that I’ll be done by the time I get home from work tomorrow, though.

Italian!

I want to learn to speak Italian. I don’t know why, other than it’s in my blood. It’s a nice language and it’s similar to Castellano to begin with.

Some day when I’m done with school.

80% on the 1st draft for my research proposal. Which, I guess, is fine.

So I’ll get a B in the class, which I’m fine with.

But? I need to do the final. Which means edit it all so that it’s all better. Okay, I need to go through it and fix the things he mentioned in the edit. I can do it! But I don’t really want to.

I have Thursday and Friday off, and the weekend to do it in, so I’m not going to stress out over it. I’ll start work on it on Thursday, or even tomorrow after work. Today will be don’t do it day!

Wednesday Work

The only day I am now scheduled to work this week is Wednesday. Sucky because it means less money and less chance to get my insurance, but nice because I have the two extra days to do my final once I get it back tonight.

It’ll be fine in the end.

Only 2-3 more weeks (days) of school left! Woohoo!

Journal Writing

Okay, so I said I’d keep a journal by hand in addition to my on-line blogging because sometimes I have time when I’m at work or at school and I really don’t feel like typing it up when I do have time with my laptop.

Well, I want a nice pretty amazing incredible (and comma less obviously) journal that I can write in and keep everything together. So… sometime in the near future I will find my perfect hand journal and start writing in that instead of loose leaf paper.

I Enjoyed It!

I went to work today thinking of my regular IEP schedule. But as often happens I ended up being in a class for the whole day. It was a 5th grade class that I ended up in. It is a GATE class and it was a good day. We had an earthquake drill in the morning so the day went by pretty fast.

I am not finding a lot of time to post lately. I am sorry about that.

Shopping and the like

We went to the mall day before yesterday and I bought two pairs of shoes. One is a sandal for long walks. Comfortable, soft shoes. The other one is a less comfortable, but nice, strappy sandel for work. I wore them today and didn’t have any problems. It was buy one get one half off at Payless. I’m happy with them.

Today I went to Target and bought a nice white shirt that doesn’t show my bust (too much) and a nice black silky dress that I can also use for work. It’s not too fancy nor casual, and it doesn’t reveal anything. It was super cheap too!

I did clean my room the other day, but clothes are still all over the place. I just don’t have enough room for all my clothes. It’s quite sad, really. Nothing I can really do, though. I need to once again go through all my clothes and get rid of things I don’t want or don’t fit anymore.

On Sunday I’m supposed to go hiking with this guy whom I’ve spoken with since last spring, but… I’m not excited about it. I am excited about some hiking though. I would really like to go more often, but again – no one to really go with. It sucks!

I had a good day at work and hope tomorrow is just as nice – except tomorrow is IEPs and I’ll be moving from one room to another and that’s a bit annoying. However… it can be pretty decent, too.

Back… pain… bad

My back is REALLY hurting right now. I’m so tired of being in pain and even more tired of noone being able to make it go away.

I’m extra sleepy right now. Which sucks because I don’t work tomorrow and it’s only 9:40pm.
