Now that I have a minute…I should update.
Kimberly will be going home today at some point. They changed the original 2 weeks to 2 days. She’s got her arm in a sling but they can’t imobolize her shoulder. It would hurt her more than help. So for the next while she’s going to be sitting on the couch watching movies and only getting up to go to the bathroom.
I’m going to visit her on Tuesday since it’s my day off. And then Friday I’ll spend the night there and keep her entertained somehow. We’ll see.
Lindsey is coming home in 2 weeks so she’ll come and visit Kimberly as well. And this summer we’ll spend lots of time together. I’ll tell you that much. She’s going to need her friends, I know that for sure.
Yesterday was nice. We took the dog (Koda) to the park for his training, in the meantime I studied for PoliSci. Went back to Alisa’s and saw OTH for my paper. Then we headed to the bank and ordered balloons for Kimberly. Afterwards we went back to her house and studied for a few hours. At 4:40 or so we went to pick up the balloons and then to the hospital.
She enjoyed them. We got 18 balloons. They were beautiful! We took a picture, so hopefully it’ll come out well. Although who knows when I’ll get it. I’ve had than film for a year I think.
I found out on Friday information for Kimberly for her CTVA class…
And well, everyone knows already… but for future reference…
Friday at like 6 or so JoJo from KIIS-FM called me (we’ve been talking for 5 years… Kim, him and I). I had gotten information about the accident to him through his assistant Renee. Well, he wanted to do something for Kimberly – he had the Backstreet Boys in studio that night.
And as some of you might know – Kimberly and I have been HUGE BSB fans for… well since 1999 I suppose. So he called Kimberly in the hospital with the guys in the studio so that they could talk to her and wish her well. They spent 5 minutes trying to get her on the phone. Live on the air. The fact that JoJo did that means so much to me, to her and so much to her mom as well. (Who has a secret crush on BSB!). He called after the show as well and spoke to them for half an hour or so.
I also learned that BSB had to be out of there by 10pm but they didn’t want to leave until they talked to her – so that is so sweet. Unbelievable.
Today I’m going to Costco with my bro to see about getting something. I’ve already spent an hour or so studying for PoliSci. I’ll spend Monday and Wednesday writing my paper for my class (it’s due on Thursday). I’ll do fine.
Kimberly is going to have to take incomplete’s in her classes since she can’t go back to school now. But it’s not completly horrible. One class she might be able to finish from her laptop at home. I’ll see about it on Thursday if they don’t find out before.
This is the last week of school and then next week finals. My niece will be here – and how happy that’ll make me. I’m going to go up to her house in June – most likely the second week. I’m quitting my job in the next week or so. I work on Thursday – so maybe then? I don’t know. And then Friday after next is another payday. Hopefully it’ll be a nice amount of money. More than the $60 that I made today – but not. And they still owe me ANOTHER paycheck. I should charge interest.
I’ve spoken a lot with Lindsey over the past few days – and last night we had a long conversation. It was really nice. She feels as though she’s out of the loops somewhat because of her distance. But she’s not. I know it.
Is there anything else to report? I dunno. So off to shower, grab lunch (cause I be hungry!) and to Costco I go!
