Pissed off beyond belief!

If you really want to learn about something unjust in the world, that leaders have done to their people then you should learn about the Dirty War in Argentina.

You think Saddam did bad things, you should go and find out about the 30,000 people who disappeared in Argentina, not to be heard of again.

The mothers who meet every Sunday in the Plaza de Mayo to keep the memory of their children alive. Memory of their siblings, parents, friends.

And I think it’s unjust the lack of attention that this war has recieved in the world media and especially in the US media and by the government of the United States. And it goes to show moreso how the war with Iraq is more so about the oil than about saving people.

Everyone should learn what happened in Argentina for nearly two decades of the 1970’s and 1980’s. Not so long ago. People lived in fear. People’s lives were destroyed.

And you know what? Yes, you can say Bush wasn’t president then, so he couldn’t have done anything, blah blah blah. Well those who tortured and kidnapped these people and dropped them out of airplanes into the ocean ALIVE are still alive and well. Living with their families in all the luxury they can. While the families of all the victims are still crying everyday for the lives of their loved ones that will never be seen again.

These kidnappers, torturers, MONSTERS, haven’t been punished for what they have done and they NEED to be punished.

Do yourselves a favor – find out about the disappered. You can go to derechos.org or http://www.desaparecidos.org/ and find out about those people who disappeared.

Go on, and go. Get mad, get angry.
